EM 4 prides itself for producing probably the best cost-effective dwarves for fantasy wargames. They may seem a bit static and useless for conversion at first sight, but once you get to it they are surprisingly useful.

But then CH created his own army, the grey dwarves (something between vanilla and chaos dwarves), so we thought about getting him some chaos dwarves.And this is what i ended up with:
Pero entonces CH creó su propio ejército, los enanos grises (aunque yo prefiero llamarlos enanos mezquinos, por los del señor de los anillos), que venian a ser un punto intermedio entre los normales y los del caos. Así que acabé haciendo esto:
Let me give you a closer look and some explanation.
The left side if this rather dark picture hosts an example of what you can botch, i mean do when you are in a rush: i had some extra putty and rather than throw it away i make a samurai-inspired helmet for the dwarfand a strange-looking halberd. Neither of them lived to my expectancies... i should have meditated it longer. On the right side, this simple conversion was made using a GW chaos space marine arm (or al least the forearm. The rest of it didn't get wasted, anyway).
El enano de más a la izquierda de esta oscura fotografía es un ejemplode como puedes cag... quiero decir hacer algo cuando tienes prisa: me quedaba algo de masilla tras otra conversión y decidí utilizarla para hacerle una alabarda de diseño raro y un casco de inspiración samurai. Ninguno de los dos quedó como yo esperaba.
En el lado derecho hay una conversión mucho más simple, hecha con elantebrazode una marine espacial del caos (luego os cuento lo que hice con el resto)
The left dwarf if the easiest conversion of all, but trickier than it seems: i had to drill a hole traversing the whole head, then put the putty covering it in order to make some sturdy horns. The other two dwarves were pretty simple: i used a thumbnail i picked in the street's floor as a hat, using some spare pieces (two dark eldar razors) and more putty to give this guy a wig and a not very convincing halberd. For the last guy, aside from sculpting a second wig, i used the shoulder pad of the chaos space marine arm (and the arm properly is now the arm of an ork. Pragmatism is how they call it).
El enano de más a la izquierda es la conversión más facil, pero aun así tiene su truco: al enano le taladré la cabeza para meterle un alambre y sobre este esculpir los cuernos con masilla, de manera que estos fueran resistentes (que no se caigan, vaya). El del centro lo hice con una chincheta encontrada en la calle, unas cuchillas de eldar oscuro y masilla para hacerle una peluca y la alabarda no muy convincente. Para el último enano, aparte de esculpirle otra peluca le puse de mascara la hombrera de cierto brazo marine espacial del caos (lo que quedó del brazo acabó siendo el brazo de un orco. Pragmatismo en su máxima expresión)
